Dr Jeffrey Wallace

Dr. Jeffrey Wallace is a native of Kitchener-Waterloo.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo, and subsequently attended the University of Western Ontario School of Dentistry.  Upon graduation, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  There, over a period of four years, he gained experience in office-based anesthesia including extensive pediatric anesthesia, dentoalveolar/implant surgery as well as orthognathic, cleft and trauma surgery. He then completed additional training during a Fellowship at Emory University, focused on orthognathic and reconstructive surgery.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Jeffrey Wallace joined the practice in July 2012.  He enjoys practicing a full-scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a particular interest in dentoalveolar surgery, pediatric surgery, implant surgery, and head and neck pathology. He has also been involved with overseas medical missions, performing cleft lip and palate surgery.

Dr Wallace is a member of various professional organizations including the Ontario Dental Association, The Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He has also published in the internationally renowned Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (JOMS), on nerve repair techniques as well as the treatment of head and neck infections. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).  He has completed his fellowship examinations in Canada and is an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.   Further, Dr. Wallace is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), making him a board-certified Maxillofacial surgeon in the United States.  Dr. Wallace is on staff as a clinical instructor at Western University’s undergraduate dental school in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Wallace’s goal is to provide every patient with personal, caring and comprehensive treatment.  His interests include hiking, gardening, downhill skiing, travelling and spending time with his young family.
